A Human Skeleton Body With No Leg Found in Penang Abandoned Building

In the month of the hungry ghost festival, a human skeleton body was found by a man yesterday (Aug 20) when he walked into an abandoned building on Jalan Bagan Luar, Butterworth.

According to Harian Metro, the man wandered into the five-storey building at 5pm and found the incomplete skeleton body on the floor.

He found it on the first floor of the building before calling the cops on his shocking discovery.

Seberang Perai Utara District Police Chief ACP Noorzainy Mohd Noor said the missing part of the body was the leg.

“The skeleton was found covered with a blanket and no identification documents were found.

“It was taken to the Forensic Department of Seberang Jaya Hospital for further action,” ACP Noorzainy said.

The building is located near to a Nasi Kandar restaurant. It is not immediately know how long the skeleton has been there, Kosmo and NST reported.

ACP Noorzainy urged those who have a missing family member to contact the SPU District Police Headquarters at 04-5759122 or the nearest police station.

“As such, anyone with any missing family member should alert the police as soon as possible.

“Those with information on the human skeleton should come forward to assist in the probe,” said the district police chief.
