To put it into perspective, McDonald’s has about 260 stores in Malaysia.

After closing their branches in Malaysia 21 years ago due to the 1997 financial crisis, Jollibee will open 50 stores in the peninsular while another half will open in East Malaysia in the coming years, Insider Retail reported.
