PKR Senator Proposes Law to Protect Men from Seduction Leading to Rape, Molest and Incest

When we thought the world has finally come to a societal maturity that women are free to wear whatever they like and it is the men that need to control their libido, a PKR member thought otherwise.

According to Malaysiakini, PKR senator Mohd Imran Abd Hamid told Dewan Negara today (Jul 31) that a new law should be in place to protect men from seduction that could lead them into committing sexual crimes.

“I propose a Sexual Harassment Act to protect men from the actions, words and clothing of women, which can cause men to be seduced to the point they can commit acts such as incest, rape, molestation, (watching) pornography and likewise.

“This is important, we (men) need to be protected. The actions, clothing of women can seduce us into breaking the law and causing us to be charged (with a crime).

“I ask that the minister consider this so that the men in this country are safe, and the country is peaceful,” the former Lumut MP said.

Imagine doing this and get charged?

Mohd Imran, who is also a retired Navy admiral, shared his proposal when he was debating the Syarie Legal Profession (Federal Territories) Bill 2019 that was passed in the Dewan Rakyat on July 15.

He said this proposal to protect men from seduction was addressed to Islamic Affairs Minister Mujahid Yusof Rawa.

In response, Senate Deputy President Abd Halim Abd Samad said this was a “good viewpoint.”

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think we need such legislation to protect men from… seduction?
