Don’t believe us? Take this Facebook page for example. Currently at 267 days now (Sept 9), the page from Singapore started on September 10, 2017, by using a “Nokia phone” to snap a packet of chicken rice. Netizens pointed out how badly focus it was but in retrospect, some came back to the first post and commended how much the mysterious foodie had improved his (or her) photography skills.

It’s on the fourth day he discovered “focus.” Or one shall say his focus is finally now set.

The photos are more entertaining to look at when it comes to Facebook because of the platform’s “Reaction” feature. In each of the photo, netizens not only comment they also reacted with “Love”, “Haha”, “Wow”, “Sad”, and “Angry”. Two of the most noteworthy Reactions must be Sad and Angry because they usually tell an unusual remark about the chicken rice.

Take this one for example. Some netizens reacted Angry on it because the chicken rice has too little skin.

While this is probably due to the fact that it’s too dry. True chicken rice lovers like it oily with ample dark sauce… or is it?

This chicken rice glazed with chilli sauce is considered as “controversial” as one netizen pointed out and it’s not wrong. A sizeable amount of netizens reacted “angrily” against it. Hmm hmm… so does food still unite us? It’s paradoxical.

Besides posting chicken rice, the admin also makes chicken rice related memes. Oh boy, these memes are perfections because they truly reflect what a true chicken rice connoisseur would say.

And when a chicken rice photo receives Sad reaction, it’s either because it’s too sinful, netizens are too hungry, or it’s presumably expensive due to the large portion of the chicken.
